Some ground rules:
1. Going anon is encouraged but not absolutely required (for those who struggle with captchas and stuff).
2. No autoplaying/autolooping embeds, or embeds that cover/stretch the screen.
3. No dropping personal info or IRL contact info, etc.

I don't think this is true.

Basically every single secret I've posted has been posted in order, and generally very close to date one would expect.

And this isn't a small selection, we're talking 120+ secrets, so random chance almost certainly wouldn't really come out that way.

Makes me curious why this would be the case though, I mean surely it would take about two minutes to find a programme to just randomly generate the order - you'd just need to strip out the trigger warning and spoilered images.

Why should the secrets be randomly posted? I kind of like knowing around what day I should expect my secret based on when I submit it.

Well of course there should be discretion. Not everything is a b&w issue, damn. If someone submits 20 secrets to fucking, idk, Sixteen Candles or some shit, it's pretty obvious. But how fucking often is someone even going to do that?

Yeah, same here. Plus there are always groups of secrets for obscure-ish fandoms posted in clusters...

Then on the other hand all of my secrets have been posted pretty randomly. Of course I'm not talking 120+ (holy shit that's a lot of "secrets"), so there's that.

mine have been posted pretty randomly. I submitted three secrets within five minutes of each other a few weeks ago and they all appeared on separate days (with the last one being posted on Friday)

Yeah, mine have been random, too. I've submitted one on Friday night and had it posted on Saturday, and also submitted one on Sunday and not had it posted until Friday. Or I'll post two within a couple minutes of each other and they'll be posted on different days. It really IS random.

I think they get sorted. Seriously.

I did three, all blatantly by the same person, and posted a few hours from each other. All got posted on the same post, one after another.
