So I'm currently writing a rimming fic right now. What other words can I use to describe the anus? Asshole/anus/butthole just sounds hilarious to me idk.

oh god this. just "hole" is a bit better, but not by much. "entrance" isn't so bad, but it's still really weird to me.

i guess i just tend to use "_____ puts their fingers/tongue inside him" and let the imagination do the rest.

but as long as you stay away from "fluttering asshole", "puckered anus", or "stretchy butthole" you should probably be fine. and yes, those are actually ones i have seen.

oh yeah, i've seen "bud". i also saw a guy's nipples and arsehole both described as "bud" in the same fic. needless to say, i was imagining some really awful things.

You probably shouldn't use rosebud. "Rosebud" can imply a... very specific kind of butthole.

You can just abbreviate it to 'hole'. I've also seen it described as 'entrance', 'pucker', and 'opening'.
