Some ground rules:
1. Going anon is encouraged but not absolutely required (for those who struggle with captchas and stuff).
2. No autoplaying/autolooping embeds, or embeds that cover/stretch the screen.
3. No dropping personal info or IRL contact info, etc.

I MISS MEGAUPLOAD SO FUCKING MUCH! And I really hate how the internet is now post MU. It's really hard to find good download links. Before it was like shooting fish in a barrel, now it's such a freakin treasure hunt.

I JUST WANT THE SEASON SEVEN FINALE OF HIMYM! WHY IS THAT SO HARD TO FIND??

Unless you live in a country that has shitty upload speeds you'll get banned pretty fast for not sharing. I would if I could! :(

allows. None of the sites used now work for me (except mediafire, which doesn't work for large files). I hate torrenting, but that's what I've been doing since MU died.

Try freakshare.com and megashares.com. Those are the sites I've had the best luck with so far.

Neither of those work for me. The'll never finish downloads for me. The download always stops before the file is completely downloaded.

That's weird. Is it your connection? Because (for various reasons) my friends and I have downloaded 700MB+ files from both sites and encountered no problems. And we're not exactly in a Wi-Fi hotspot either.

I've never had that problem with megaupload, mediafire, or sendspace on the same connection, and I have had the same problem with other sites on other connections. Those are the only three sites that have ever worked for me.

I miss MU too, but you are not looking hard enough if you can't find the finale of a current show! (hint, torrents, and if you don't want that, mediafire)

It's the greek letter mu! μ represents the SI prefix micro- or [10^(−6)], which is why µTorrent is a (very) tiny BitTorrent client ;)

They're cracking down on other websites as well. Every time I turn around, somebody's huge backlog of uploads on Mediafire or some such got their account suspended and left behind a ton of broken links. FFS.

I miss Megaupload's structure the most. It was so neat and clean quick, not like the fucking circus tricks you have to do to download stuff most places.

Me too, anon. I miss it more for finding ebooks and back issues of magazines. No one re-uploads the older and obscure stuff, so now it's all gone forever.
