You can't relate to either your cultural roots nor your national identity because you're too much of the first or not enough of the second, or vise versa.

You have a young kid with you and you happen to be young yourself; you're a young mother who got knocked up by her high school dropout gangster boyfriend, aren't you?

All Asians look alike, are you Chinese, Japanese, or Korean? Because, obviously, those are the only Asians out there or are worth knowing.
