Right? And why does everyone adhere to the same bizarre rules? And why is it so popular? What is it about biological imperative mating rituals, dog dicks, and m-preg that strikes so many people?

There's also a shit ton of gender weirdness going on that you could easily spend days on.

I've had the same thought. Maybe people who are into bestiality but think it's too taboo or whatever, but putting it on a human makes it okay? I don't even know.

I read a... hm, was it J2 RPF? Some sort of SPN/RPF fic, anyway, where Jensen is a pedigreed human-dog hybrid who got loose in human society and had to be modified biologically and mentally to became the "bitch he was meant to be". There was human/hybrid and dog/hybrid action, and this was a serious fic. Not crack, not parody, not dark humor but plotty smut fic.

NGL, this hit all sorts of my Uncanny Valley and DO NOT WANT buttons.
