Some ground rules:

I really like tumblr for a few reasons (ESPECIALLY SINCE I DISABLED INFINITE SCROLLING MY GOD THAT IS THE WORST THING EVER):
-I can complain on tumblr about issues with the world or problems that I have personally that I don't feel like I can talk about in real life. I know that usually it's just shouting into a void, but it still feels nice to shout somewhere.
-I have a few fandom friends that I met somewhere else, and we use tumblr to share ideas and talk.
-The Sherlock fandom is very active on tumblr.
-The assorted science related tags on tumblr make me very happy.
-There's some really funny shit on tumblr.
-It's mostly mindless, but, honestly when I'm on the internet I WANT something mindless. Tumblr is a great way to wind down after a long day.

I agree with the mods people have proposed, though. The layout of tumblr is better than some other sites (PINTEREST), but it's still pretty shitty.

I recently had to go and find a new theme for my blog because they fucking changed it and it would just add the next posts onto the bottom instead of opening a new page.

How on earth are people supposed to go back through my shit if the site ends up killing their computers?????
