I'm with you, it takes me forever, and more often than not I give up because it's not going anywhere. I generally have to be super turned on before I start and either be watching/reading something erotic or able to very strongly fantasize about whatever it is while I'm going at it, otherwise I lose it.

It doesn't help that I have some sort of "out there" kinks that get me off, and that I can very rarely get off to the same fantasy twice. X/ (and I'm really into realism, so if I'm hooking up fandom characters, I have to come up with elaborate scenarios where it's realistic for them to hook up first!)
