[ Anon Meme ]

F!S Anon Meme (the Seventh, and now on DW!)

Secrets, rants, opinions, anything you want to say about your fandom or a fandom or fandom in general, do it here! Anonymously, of course. Get it all off your chest.

Some ground rules:
1. Going anon is encouraged but not absolutely required (for those who struggle with captchas and stuff).
2. No autoplaying/autolooping embeds, or embeds that cover/stretch the screen.
3. No dropping personal info or IRL contact info, etc.

That's about it, though!

I'll be linking some general/general-fandom threads I see so people don't repost new threads with the same stuff.

How old are you?
What series have you always meant to watch/read/play/etc. but have never?

The anon above gave good advice re: watering, a lot of new plant keepers overwater and it's one of the main reasons houseplants die.
Look online for plant-specific advice, here's some general stuff.

What part of the plant is dying - flowers, leaves, or stems? Flowers die quickly, leaving the rest of the plant OK. It's what they do.

If the leaves are brown, look at the plant's surroundings. Brown leaf tips = overwatered, poor soil, or a combo of both. Brown burned-looking leaves = too much direct sun. Withered, pale, wimpy leaves = too little sun, maybe poor soil, maybe the plant's potbound (grown too big in a too-small pot, let the owner deal with this).

If the stems are dying, then you have problems. Talk to someone IRL.

OP here. Thank you so much, this is really helpful. I think overwatering is definitely my problem. The stems aren't dying but a portion of the flowers are, so I hope this isn't beyond repair. Thank you!
