I have a vague stereotype of Norwegians wearing thick wooly sweaters all the time no matter what the temperature actually is outside and not being very emotionally demonstrative, but I'm not sure where said stereotype actually comes from, and I don't know if it's widely shared or if it comes from some book I read when I was a little kid or something.
