F!S Anon Meme (the Seventh, and now on DW!)

Secrets, rants, opinions, anything you want to say about your fandom or a fandom or fandom in general, do it here! Anonymously, of course. Get it all off your chest.

Some ground rules:
1. Going anon is encouraged but not absolutely required (for those who struggle with captchas and stuff).
2. No autoplaying/autolooping embeds, or embeds that cover/stretch the screen.
3. No dropping personal info or IRL contact info, etc.

That's about it, though!

I'll be linking some general/general-fandom threads I see so people don't repost new threads with the same stuff.

I could be wrong since it's not my kink, but it seems to me a lot of it's about finding pleasure in a total loss of control, stripped-down and intensified: Heats that steal away logic and inhibitions; knotting that forces closeness with a partner; scenting arousal that removes miscommunication of interest that might turn spontaneous ravishing into assault; mate bonding with one person whether it's willing or not; pregnancy that's almost always initially unwanted. As I understand it, it's a lot more romantic to envision really filthy, wild, and immediate sex that both parties ~just couldn't resist omg~, than when everyone goes into it with total control and making informed choices. I prefer the latter and you can see it in the ideas I listed, but that puts me in the minority in pretty much all romance. Most people find loss of control hotter.

(Plus, I've always felt there's a strong element of projection, considering it's written by an almost entirely female base focusing on feminization of individuals whose biology and sexuality are exploited by more masculine figures in power, often second-class citizens who love their oppressors anyway. You see this happen in much of mainstream hetero romance, especially the paranormal stuff. Omegaverse is only unique in removing women from the equation and being a bit more shameless about it, IMO.)

I, uh, can't explain the assbabies. It seems like it would be an easier answer to just give a dude a vagina, but I rarely see it done. Might be most people feel it intrudes on the m/m fantasy if there's any visible (i.e. not a uterus) female parts involved.
