F!S Anon Meme (the Seventh, and now on DW!)

Secrets, rants, opinions, anything you want to say about your fandom or a fandom or fandom in general, do it here! Anonymously, of course. Get it all off your chest.

Some ground rules:
1. Going anon is encouraged but not absolutely required (for those who struggle with captchas and stuff).
2. No autoplaying/autolooping embeds, or embeds that cover/stretch the screen.
3. No dropping personal info or IRL contact info, etc.

That's about it, though!

I'll be linking some general/general-fandom threads I see so people don't repost new threads with the same stuff.

Remnants, by KA Applegate. There is, like, barely any fic. Ah, who am I kidding, what I really want is a cool miniseries for it; it would blow everyone's minds. Being a kid's book, the prose is very simple, which isn't a bad thing but might deter some people. But if it were on the screen, all you'd have left is an amazing cast of characters, diverse and shippable and angsty/humorous, an interesting premise, mind-bending visuals, and an action-packed plot. But you'd need a big budget for that. :/

On that note, Everworld (same author) really deserves a bigger fandom. And so does 'Bartimaeus Trilogy' by Jonathan Stroud (but a movie might be coming out <3). Malcolm in the Middle would rock (the fandom is mostly dead by now, aww.) And I don't know what this is all about, but trawling through Russian fic sites gave me computer program fandom, featuring things such as: Firefox/Chrome, Paint/Photoshop, Word/Excel, and so on. This is DELICIOUSLY CRACKY.

But the fandom I want most of all (and was totally going to make a secret for) is for 8-Bit Theatre.

Think about it: you could continue on with the cracky adventures, or have an epic plot, or make it angsty or dark or anything. The characters are very unique, so any shipping with them is bound to have an original flavour. Hell, I'd eve love the hell out of all the generic high school/bakery/office/whatever AU's. Because those would rock. And there's so much potential for a wealth of incredibly written fanfiction. Alas, it was not meant to be.

(And I totally ship Thief/Red Mage and Garland/Drizz'l)
