Some ground rules:
1. Going anon is encouraged but not absolutely required (for those who struggle with captchas and stuff).

Downton Abbey (if this was a film I'd be all over it; don't know why I can't follow it on TV)

If you get around to ASoIF/GoT I would recommend reading it before watching it if you do plan to read the books at some point. I read the first 2 books right before watching it and the knowledge really helps fill in some of the gaps. I found the series did a good job at keeping up with the book, so reading them after knowing what happens could be a pain.
