the "dark fic" in the summary and the warning weren't there when I first read it, so it totally blindsided me

this fic is part of the reason why I now have no problem spoiling myself by scrolling down to the end or skimming ahead to see if something will go unexpectedly dark

I hope it's at least enjoyable to you <:) and not traumatizing like it was like for me (the characters are arch-nemeses, so I thought that it would be like, them having a non-sexual battle of wills and fights and that explained the M rating silly me)
