Her rep isn't shot at all, actually. She has a TON of fans that love her. Only a few people lashed out at having their money taken, and were quickly jumped upon by her loyal fanbase. If you read her dA page, it's already flooded with people saying they love her/can't wait to read her new comic.

And since Omni didn't seem to mind she abandoned her old project+publisher...

I'd say, yeah. She got bored and flaked. She did it with three other comics before Hanna.

Wait hold up I coulda sworn a few weeks ago someone mentioned Tessa working with Omni? Or did the names get typo'd what happened with everything.

Still excited for Buzz, though, as sketchy as it makes me feel.

Yes and no on the typos. It's really "OniPress", and all we knew back then was that Tessa would likely be working for them.

Now that we have an actual statement, title and sample art, and the writer is someone well-known (and respected) in the comics world, this feels much more real.

I'll be watching and hoping for the best, personally.
