When I was maybe ten or eleven, I figured out how to order the Playboy and Spice channels on our cable service (Pay-Per-View had a simple two-click method of purchasing that could only be child-or-idiot-proofed by request). I remember I watched so much porn that I began to find it boring, particularly the overabundance of lesbian action (it was great at first, but they were really shy about dick for some reason).

I managed to run up a three hundred dollar bill over the following months (almost to a year, I think). When that was inevitably discovered, I claimed that our service had been tampered with and disavowed all responsibility. I dunno if anybody believed me, we don't speak of it, lol.

By the time I got to fandom in high school, all I had left to discover was that dudes could do each other, too. Boy howdy could they.
