It was kind of a gradual thing for me? I didn't have home internet or cable TV, but I was obsessed with softcore porn scenes in books when I was about 12 (and on late-night tv a few years later...there are eyewatering stories here about that phase of history where UK Channel 5 started showing a lot of softcore porn and I used to regularly find my father passed out drunk at about midnight with one of them blaring from the TV). I think I read something genuinely explicit when I was 15 and then I got into the porn side of fandom when I was 17 and thereby actually figured out what my kinks are. What I can't remember is when I read the Kama Sutra. I found a paperback copy at home and hid it in my room to read it secretly. I think I was 14. Secret: it's boring.
