I absolutely love Steam Powered Giraffe, I think the whole band is amazingly talented, funny and creative, but... I'm afraid I don't care much about the story :(. I know it's not my obligation to like everything about them, but I feel kinda bad that I don't care enough to see other people's headcanons, imagine anything or read what they post about the plot. If it was just in the lyrics, I would be really interest, though. Does that makes sense?

That is totally reasonable. I just like watching too. I only consort with other fans to squee when new songs/videos etc come out. The people making the stuff are talented enough, like the fan art is cute.
