Considering the general apparent mental and emotional IQ of my fellow classmates now, that's fucking scary. And yet, unsurprising.

A buddy of mine went down to the recruitment office for the Canadian Forces and asked if his college degree meant he would start as a lieutenant. Apparently they laughed. Hard.

No, bro, your combined History-Philosophy degree does not prepare you to command troops on the battlefield, even though you took that class on the War in the Pacific once. Graduates of military colleges get to be lieutenants.
