Source please?

Because this is the first time I've read that and now I'm curious.

And honestly if it's so disruptive to the scenes etc. someone should just tell him. He does come over as someone who would stop something like that if he was asked to. But that's just a feeling on my part =)

Look up con videos with Misha, he tells them at every con about how Jared likes making him break. and it still happens, like when Cas was wearing the scrubs, Jared was pulling down his pants off screen because he had no belt.

Misha was also the one that said they don't do Sam and Cas scenes because they are so hard to film. Once Misha kicked both the J's off set and had to do the scene with stand ins because they would not stop.

Misha clearly doesn't mind to much, at least he's resigned to it, but it's not just the actors Jared inconveniences, it's the set and writers and directors and the people paying the bills.

People in fandom find these stories funny, but I just get mad at how childish it is to fuck with someone while they are working.

But how do you know it bothers the crew? I mean unless they say something about it no one can assume that they like or dislike it.

If that's really happening that might be unprofessional but I'm not there so I can't judge how it's going on. And I doubt they would be allowed to keep doing that if it really cost that much money, but again that's just a personal opinion.

u sound like u have a stick up ur ass

They kind of do.

Misha is not the most reliable source. He likes to exaggerate and fabricate stories to confuse and entertain his audience. I'm not doubting such antics occur - we've all seen the gag reels. But I do doubt they are as disruptive as he likes to indicate.

it has been said a few times in several interviews and cons. but, it's also likely they exaggerate to be funny? idk i think if it was a real real bad problem that they would tell him to knock it off for good, but it definitely does happen

Thank you =)

Yeah you never know with them how much is actually true and what isn't. And as making a show or filming a movie is a very hard business I somehow doubt that they would let it continue if it really interfered with the work. But I'm not there, so no real clue ^^

Seriously. My husband works inTV so I know a bit about how things work. There is no friggin' way the producers would let talent continue to be so disruptive as to waste money. They would make it very clear that it was to stop. Shit, there's probably even something in the actors' contracts that would make them liable for financial penalties for holding up production. That's pretty standard.

The actors know that fans love stories about pranks on set. I'm sure the stories are exaggerated for fanservice. Some people just assume the shit they hear at cons and on the Internet is true I guess.

MTE. I'm sure there are plenty of shenanigans on set that make for good con stories. But if it was so disruptive that it cost the studio/network money, you better believe that someone, somewhere would reign his shit in. Since there haven't been stories/whispers/gossip about anyone being extremely unprofessional on that set, I'm gonna chalk it up to an exaggeration.

(Anonymous) 2012-08-07 08:18 pm (UTC)(link)
yeah they prob wouldnt talk about it at cons if it was legit disruptive.

(Anonymous) 2012-08-07 05:06 am (UTC)(link)
There is no source. This person wants to hate him, so they've scoured videos for the most minute "proof" of his supposed "douchiness" so they think they have an excuse.
