Don't consider myself particularly edgy or anything, but I kind of agree. That speech is quite cliche. It doesn't bother me too much; if I were graduating in that class, I'd probably just tune her out, but really, that speech is pretty much exactly what I would expect. In other words, just modeled after every other graduation speech ever.

At risk of being accused of trying to be a snowflake, does the sentiment not strike everyone as flat out wrong? You ARE supposed to give a serious stab at what you want to do at that age, you do make hard and fast decisions and some mistakes, A LOT of mistakes, are permanent and they're not all the kind of constructive learning experience that you can use to eventually formulate who you want to be.
