I got banned from DeviantArt because I got into an argument with one of the admins. This was back in 2002 or 2003 I think?
Anyway, the whole "argument" was basically just criticism that got taken way too seriously, the admin became passive-aggressive, I called them out on it, and then I got banned.

I've always hated/avoided wank, and I think that it could have traumatized me pretty badly if it weren't for the fact that I thought that the admin in question was totally abusing their power. They're no longer on the site btw.

I had a similar experience except I didn't get banned. We were actually arguing over fetishes and she said anyone with a fetish should be forcibly removed from DA but I thought it was funny because she drew Yaoi. And more sexual Yaoi than anything I ever drew that was "horrible demeaning and fetishing women." Also was one of the first people I remember that refused to believe I was a woman.

I got and ED page out of it That she made). But I can't really say it was bad because I thought the whole thing was pretty funny. The page is long gone though because I wasn't wanky enough.
