I'm sure if it was disrupting the shoot the director/show runner would've had a talk with him about it. These guys work long hours day and night. If having a bit of harmless fun on the set is Jared's way of coping with a demanding work schedule (and no one has any problems with that,) how does that make him a douche?

As for Sam being a spoiled, self-centered person, that's his character and the result of his upbringing. It's his dad and brother's fault they made him the center of the family's universe. Sam's not my favorite character for that reason too but I believe Jared has nailed what the writers have given him perfectly.

AYRT- Alright, well perhaps I should say that I personally don't believe that 'Spoiled, self-centered shit' is the way the showrunners, writers and creator wanted Sam to be viewed.

But, if that is what they've wanted from day one, then I take back every disparaging remark about JP's talent I've ever made.

Are you aware that there are people who write scripts that contain the words the actors say as their characters? And other people called directors, who point out how the actors should deliver their lines and such? I don't think it's a surprise to any of the production crew that Sam (or Dean or Bobby or Cas or John) can be self-centered.

AYRT Again- Also, Misha straight-up said that the writers stopped writing him and Jared in scenes together because Jared wouldn't stop fucking with him. This sounds like they were trying to find a way to cut back on Jared's antics (re Misha) without actually having to talk to him.

And I'm not saying that I have a problem with on-set antics in general. Obviously, it works very well for the SPN set, every guest on set raves about how friendly and fun it is there, blah blah blah. I personally have no problem with goofing off at work, it makes the work place more tolerable and the days go faster. My problem with at work fuckery comes in when it causes someone to have to work longer hours, or do more work. Nearly every single TV or Movie set has gag reels and stories of on-set funtimes, but the stories about Jared are excessive and I think he sounds douchy.

(And regarding the overtime, if I have to work overtime because shit just didn't get done or someone is sick or whatever, that's cool. But if I have to work overtime because one of my coworkers has been fucking around and playing pranks and goofing off instead of doing his job? That shit pisses me off. There is a difference.)

If you take anything--ANYTHING--that Misha says, especially at a con, at face value, then you are a silly, silly fool. He is Emperor Sarcasmo, Lord and Reigning Deity of the Land of Facetiousia.

NA

Fucking THIS. Just because pwecious Mish-Mish says it doesn't make it gospel truth. He lives to exaggerate and obfuscate. That is pretty much the best thing about him.

This. Since when is Misha a reliable source?

This is why Misha is King of the Trolls. He does nothing but demonstrate over and over again that he delights in toying with fandom, and fandom responds by continuing to buy it and react exactly as he wants every single time.

Da: I know everyone likes to pretend misha is never ever serious about anything ever, but the truth is that he answers questions and tells serious stories on a fairly regular basis. Back when he first started trolling fandom, the 'misha never says anything serious' claim was true, but 4 years later this is no longer the case.

For what it's worth, I have seen the video where he talks about them not writing Sam and Cas into scenes together anymore, and there was no indication that he was making it up.

Psst, he's an actor. They're good at pretending to be serious when they're not.

The one where he talks about giggling like a schoolgirl and pretends to forget Padalecki's name? There was no indication that was made up?

"Misha straight-up said"

Using Misha as a source for ANYTHING is a pretty terrible idea. Just sayin'.
