No matter the situation, you don't say stuff like that to people you know are suicidal. It's not that they must treat you like a special snowflake no matter how filled with insults a conversation might become, but it's just common decency NOT to say something that you know can have some serious consequences. Fuck, it's called empathy and basic humanity. It's called caring about the wellbeing and life of your own son/daughter. If she doesn't, then she's the one with a problem, not you. Fuck, I've said hurtful things I shouldn't have to my parents over the years, mostly in fights and fits of anger, and they were the reasonable adults they are supposed to be and while hurt, they didn't resort to hurting me as a counterargument.
Still, as you're puting it, there's no way out of that house for you in the foreseeable future (unless you have a relative/friend to take you in, butnot being able to pay for some stuff can become a strain on the relationship). Yet lack of a job doesn't make you les of a person. There are less positions for less money all over the world; the recession is hitting everybody hard. Even your parents probably wouldn't be able to get a job if they started looking now.
Perhaps what you could do is get any job you can get your hands on to start saving some money while still on the lookout for better opportunities. And doing something productive with your time always makes you feel more useful and more like a human being.
