I can't speak for whether or not Jared is a douche, but I always thought he was kind of a shitty actor. It just seems like he cycles through the same three facial expressions over and over again while Jensen is much more expressive.

I find it funny that he married Genevieve since I thought she was a shitty actress the entire time she played Ruby. Maybe I'm wrong because I haven't seen any of her other stuff, but I just found her so dull compared to Katie Cassidy.

You know, I think the shittyness of Genevieve's acting is like the ONE thing that all of fandom can agree on. For every other actor that gets called 'bad', there are at least a small handful of fans who think they're decent. But Genevieve.... I've never, ever seen anyone defend her acting. Ever.

I think Genevieve's very pretty, and she's probably a nice person IRL and all that shit but watching her scenes was like watching paint dry. Katie Cassidy was just so fun and spunky. I was sad when she left.

As for Jared, yeah, he might be a notch about Genevieve, but I still don't find him decent. It's kind of funny watching scenes where he has to act because it looks like he's straining himself.

I like Gen. She seems like a fun and sweet person. Having said that, I just think she was miscast. I think she could play the nice girl next door type decently, but a manipulative, seductive demon? It just did not work with her. Not once did I buy it. She just doesn't have the bite for it. She came off as so weak when she was clearly trying so hard to be tough and badass.

Compared to Katie, Nikki, and Rachel...she just couldn't pull it off.

ITA. Her acting is okay, but she was so miscast in this role. She just couldn't pull off having an "evil spark."

Yeah. I prefer Ruby 1.0 over Ruby 2.0. Still hope that it's revealed Ruby 2.0 wasn't REALLY Ruby. IT COULD HAPPEN. :P
