Aw, I don't know -- I thought Hilda's death scene was pretty sad...! However, his relationship with Lena -- the love interest who, y'know, didn't die -- was the one who tugged on my heartstrings the most.

But yeah, this whole scene is rather depressing too, I agree.

I think Hilda's death is sad, but every time I think about the lion fursuit I end up snickering. I never understood why Lena and Albert could never see one another again after that episode, though. I've watched it multiple times to figure it out--there must be something I'm missing over and over again. Couldn't he at least visit her? ):

It is totally sad and generally the reason everything is going so wrong--both with the love interests and the job thing.

But this consequence in particular seems to hit really hard for me. I'm not sure why it's the number-one tearjerker moment for me, but it stands forever as the one thing that really pinches my heart in an uncomfortable way.
