Yargh, that's why I dropped that manga. After a while I felt like the plot was just an excuse for (1) crazy gothy shenanigans (which became less and less common the more it went on, which disappointed me because I LIKED that bit) and (2) an excuse to show off "hot" guys (which I thought were super-ugly).

So. Yeah. I can't believe the manga's gone on for that long, particularly if it's not even going anywhere.

Hell, the anime and TV adaption do a better job of getting Sunako and Kyohei together, and for Sunako to finally see how beautiful she truly is and all that. /

From what I've seen of the TV show I like it a lot better because it has fun with the premise and takes itself less seriously. Of course, it's Nabeshin, so I watched it for that in the first place.
