This is going to sound weird, but Clark Kent is my favourite superhero secret identity ever. It's easy to mock him because of the "Superman puts on his glasses and suddenly no one recognizes him!" thing, until you realize that the simplicity of his disguise is exactly what makes it work. Think about the dorkiest, most unintimidating person you know. Would you ever think that they were secretly a superhero? Nobody recognizes Superman as Clark Kent because they see him as "That dweeb who wears glasses and happens to look a little like Superman."

Also, his movie has the awesomest theme music.

Haters to the left indeed. :)

Absolutely! I mean, if you knew a guy who looked like Kevin Bacon, you wouldn't go "Aha! I bet this guy is Kevin Bacon in disguise!", you'd just think he was a guy who looked like Kevin Bacon. And if you knew both of them and knew they had totally different personalities, you'd actually be even less likely to connect the two. It just makes so much sense, because he doesn't have to hide how he really looks at all. Hell, even if he didn't wear glasses people would probably just make a couple jokes about how much he looks like Superman and go on their way.
