Meh. Even if you don't know the Tumblr, I think if you know Mass Effect, you can still piece together that Something Happened with Legion and Tali and it means the ME3 Rannoch mission will be Very Bad. And generally it is Very Bad if both characters are dead, so, yeah.

Of course, I read BAM, so I am not a good example!

I dunno what to saw OP. Legion is pretty much my favorite character so I get it but like you said, it isn't your Legion.

On the other hand, the blatent lack of caring is why I stopped reading Mom Effect. At least the mom in BAM actually likes the series.

What's the secret in this? Why is it upsetting to watch your mother's interpretation of the game? Huh?

It's referring to a popular tumblr where a daughter posts text logs and conversations had with her mother while her mother plays Bioware games blind.

Most of the time it is fucking hilarious. But the Mom plays renegade, so in Mass Effect 2, she chose to basically send a super adorable character (Legion) to his death rather than recruit him, and then she made some extremely poor choices in the endgame, so some more lovable characters (Kasumi and Tali) also died.

For a lot of ME fans who follow the tumblr, it was heartwrenching. I know the Legion thing was for me! WHO DOESN'T LOVE LEGION.

I was very upset about her giving Legion to Cerberus, definitely, and the post when Tali died just... chilled my fucking bones like you wouldn't believe. But it's not my playthrough, and one of the main points of the exercise is for Reg's Mom to play however she's going to play, totally blind and with no reloads or fandom influence.

But I can't really blame you if you can't keep going. If it's not fun anymore, then that loses the PRIMARY point: reading about her playthrough and enjoying it. So, good luck to you OP.

Despite having ~EXTREMELY UPSET FEELS~ when the posts were fresh, I'm now honestly kind of eager to see how much of a clusterfuck the Rannoch mission is going to be.

Eh, it doesn't really bother me, only because.. well, it's not my playthrough. Reg's mom seems awfully renegade (though even as a renegade I never hand Legion over) and not very patient with the games anyway (if I recall she hated planet scanning).

Really, I just follow the tumblr for Reg and mom's loltastic commentary/exchange rather than how she plays the game itself.
