Some years ago (2006 or so), there was a HP fanartist I liked who I think went by the handle Egyptian Mau or maybe just Mau. Most of her stuff was of Snape, and were generally either ink/watercolor or a bold black and white style inspired probably by Beardsley. I have 2 or 3 of her pieces printed out, so they have the URL at the bottom; they were hosted at yacht.zamok.net which doesn't seem to be active any more. Some of her art had text in Russian and may have been illustrations for some fics.

I *think* I originally found her page through Pirate Monkey's Snape links, but I just checked there and it's either not there any more or the link is dead.

Does anyone know if this artist still has a webpage, perhaps a deviantart?

I've found their e-mail in a comment thread of what I think is a fanfiction archive, if that helps? I could pm it to you.
