Was the seaQuest fic 'Temporary Duty,' by any chance? I love that fic, I found the OC cast to be really likable and interesting (though to be fair to the OP's point, none of them are romantic interests for the main cast).

Yeah, it was the Temporary Duty and Weakest Link series, not by chance but AJ Jackson, who was friends with Chance and I think there was a crossover at one point? God the useless information that clogs up my brain.

But yeah, I love the Outriggers. I'd almost rather have read a story all about them and minus the Lucas angst.
