So many of his blog posts around this time sound like "my partner has all these new friends and a new business and he's not paying enough attention to me (so I'm gonna get with this other dude)." And yeah, I get how poly relationships work, but there are still boundaries to adhere to (though I don't know what their specifics were), a hard and fast rule for me has always been don't treat your primary partner like shit.

That's all well and good, but your relationship =/= anyone else's and their boundaries may well be different to yours. I'm not saying he necessarily went about it the right way, but I'm not going to judge a longterm relationship breaking down by the LJ posts of only one of the people involved.
