The fact that he wrote pretty graphic sex scenes with barely-adolescent girls being molested by much-older men is skeevy, because you have to think about him thinking about those sex scenes. Plus the scenes were just skeevy to begin with. I mean, there's historical realism, but did they have to be graphic ffs?
But you're just extrapolating on completely random, differently valued things. Just saying it doesn't make them equal.
