...They're fapping to two male figures having sex. I'm sure straight guys can find some fancy way to explain the way they portray girl-on-girl on their porn and say "get over yourself, it's intended for men and not you gay girls at all" when a lesbian criticizes it too. Doesn't change anything.

Someone back in Live Journal in fact pointed this to me in a very succinct way - any portrayal is subject to criticism by the people it portrays. To me that's the bottom line, and I don't see why women would get a pass at it because they found some weird "no homo" explanation for their sexual urges.

Well assuming that moral event horizon means that the character is irredemably evil I really wouldn't agree.

I mean, yes it's a horrible thing and Tyrion certainly shouldn't have done it but I wouldn't call him so evil that he has no chance of ever being a "good"* person again. I'm in book four so I have no idea how that changed him but I don't think one horrible act makes him a person that can never be redeemed. It's definitely something that is going to define him and probably change him as a person but it doesn't really make him this evil monster.

I definitely don't blame Shae, she had to do what she had to do. But I can also understand why Tyrion did it, which is no excuse for killing someone who had no choice but I can understand it.

*good is in "" cause this is Game of Thrones and good is a bit relative over there.

Wincest (Sam/Dean) is my OTP, and I love looking at fanart of them. But...CONFESSION! I actually really love Sam/Gabriel fanart, even though I don't ship them and I don't read fic for them. The art for the two of them is just always so cute! I have several pictures of them in my fanart folder. :P
