congrats on finding a fandom corner that suits your needs, op, it can be an arduous, neverending search.

my own experience with male dominated fandom spaces center around comic books and tennis and... well. there are a lot of differences indeed, compared to the mostly female dominated places i frequent! but capacity for wank isn't one of them.

i guess it's unfair to bring comics into this when the creators themselves can be wanky as fuck, but y'know.
