How is Tyrion having sex with a whore that he paid an act of rape? Pretty much every girl Tyrion has ever bedded except for Tysha was a whore.

I'm not a fan of prostituting women but let's not make it any worse than it actually is.

If a woman doesn't want to have sex with you (general you, not you personally) it doesn't matter how much you paid her. You can ask for the money back but if you force her to have sex against her will that's rape. No matter the money she still has the right to say no.

And I do not mind prostitution as long as the person in question is happy with her job.

It's rape because she didn't consent to it. Women who choose to be sex workers in regular establishments usually have some choice, but establishments such as Alayaya's are a world apart from slave brothels in Essos.
