Re: Creepy/ awkward moments...
I had a 17 year old Shih Tzu, who I had had since I was five years old. The night prior we (my family and I) had to put her to sleep.
I go into the office, and my boss (who is a chronic over-sharer) asks me how my night was. I replied: "Not too good, I had to put my dog to sleep last night. And we've had her since I was a little kid."
Her reply: "Yeah, don't they just get kinda pathetic there at the end. I remember when MY HUSBAND was in the hospital dying of cancer..."
She continued saying something. But I couldn't hear her over the "OMGWTF, you just compared my dog to your dead husband!?!"
Srsly. How do you respond to that?
