A few months ago I decided to go running one morning. The park I went to is somewhere I go all the time, and I've never felt like it was dangerous before, but that morning it was really empty and I felt like I was being watched. I was debating with myself and trying to decide whether I should leave or if I was just being paranoid and should stay, when I noticed this creepy guy behind me. I starting running a little faster and turned down a different trail hoping to lose him.

Which I realized pretty quick was really, really stupid of me because I was just going deeper into the woods and farther away from the road. I ended up completely lost and just knew that he was going to find me and kill me, but eventually I found my way back to the parking area and after making sure he was nowhere in sight and not following me, I got the hell out of there. I've gone back since then but never in the morning again after that.

Holy shit. I'm glad you're okay. Some people may say you're overreacting but that exact thing happened to a few women in my area. Not all of them made it out alive. I am very, very glad you're okay.

Thanks. It was terrifying. Similar things have happened in my area and I had all those stories running through my head the entire time. Looking back on it now, I'm mad at myself for being so stupid but I feel really lucky that nothing happened.

Hey, don't beat yourself up. When stuff like that happens it's really hard to act or do things right even if you plan for it.
