It's terrible. I don't understand the popularity at all, the style it's written in is so annoying.

It's okay. It's super long, and there's TONS of exposition and the characters aren't necessarily IC. It's very removed from their jobs, so it's mostly them walking on the beach and talking constantly, then eventually having sex. I can see how it appeals to the romance novel crowd, but I ended up skimming a lot of it. There are better fics in the fandom, and a ton of them, since it's been on the air so long.

The author of that fic is someone who used to be immensely popular in the fandom, took her fics down when she decided to go pro, then came back under a pseudonym.

i have to agree about the banners, there are always exceptions, but usually when i decide to check one out out of curiosity i'm proven right.
