Regardless of justifications of "Well, it's natural," if it makes you uncomfortable, then he shouldn't be doing it.
There is no reason for you to feel obligated to just shut up and deal with it, because of insecurities or any other reason. It's your relationship with your own personal boundaries.
Talk to him about it. And if he can't respect how uncomfortable it makes you, maybe you should rethink how much he cares about you.
