Re: Creepy/ awkward moments...

When I was in my first year of uni, and still didn't know my way around very well, I met this creepy guy.

For some reason, I had this instant fear response towards him, and I had no idea why. Like the gut-clenching, holy-shit, ABORT ABORT ABORT kind of fear. (I was recovering from anxiety at the time, but I had never, ever reacted to anyone that way.)

I wasn't sure what it was at first - it was lots of little things.

The first time I met him busted out the charms and flattery, and was always complimenting me on my looks. He was also an arrogant liar - on the second meeting he claimed he drove an expensive sports car. University student? Jaguar? LOL OKAY.

The conversation would be really normal - and then he'd make a REALLY bizarre comment. Like "I hope you weren't avoiding me", or "People who take medecine for illness are just weak". Once he made this creepy, inappropriate sex-joke about my height.

Everything he did - the way he talked and walked and behaved - felt like acting. Ever hear the expression "his smile never reached his eyes"? LITERALLY that.

Anyway. I kept running into this guy. He would offer to show me around or walk me to my class, and then talk about himself the entire time.
One day I started getting a really bad migraine. I went to the bus stop to go home - and the creep was there.
For the entire. damn. bus ride he insisted on talking to me. And then when we got off, he asked me: "Want to go get a coffee?"

NO. NO I DO NO WANT A FUCKING COFFEE. THAT WILL MAKE MY MIGRAINE WORSE. KINDLY FUCK OFF.

Anyway, after that I avoided him, though I've still seen him around at cons. I shudder to think that he might have a girlfriend.
