For me, talking about how hot and bangable they think a character is isn't that bad for me, until they just do it like WAY too much. To the point you can't even talk about her in any context without it being how cute and sweet and pretty and dateable she is. Blegh. :\

If you tell him it makes you uncomfortable when he talks about these girls too much he should understand. If he doing it anyway only more obnoxious now that he know it bothers you then he's a jerk.
Or if he reacts badly to you feeling the same way about some male characters while insisting that you're overreacting then he's also a jerk.
