Re: Creepy/ awkward moments...
Basically, this lady at my local Walgreens is infatuated with me (I don't even shop there often!). I've been by with my parents before too so she recognizes them and always asks about me. Welp on my birthday when we're out together my mom randomly goes, "Let's go by Walgreens! That nice lady said you need to come by and see her," and I'm like "Oh Jesus no, why would you want that?" but I eventually cave because she wouldn't shut up about it and was guilt tripping me because the lady is so sweet and thoughtful and blah blah blah, she needed some lipstick anyway.
So in the middle of the store the lady is hugging me (PERSONAL SPACE, LADY), telling me how beautiful I am and how sweet I am but how I've been bad by not coming by more and that she'd have to spank me if I took so long again. Well that was weird even if she said it in a joking manner and I didn't even know what to say so I'm pretty sure I didn't say anything, but my mom laughed because apparently a much older woman saying this isn't creepy at all, so I leave as quickly as possible. But the next time my parents went in she bought me a card and gave it to them to pass along, and she had written something like "Happy birthday! I am lonely - come by and see me. Love you,” in it.
I have been avoiding that store like the plague.
Also, long story short: a lady from my former church is kinda creepily invested in me. Once she came by my house to try to get me back into church, but she said some upsetting shit (I'm not even getting into the details of those) and left me crying.
Edited to add: my dermatologist making a joke about getting me naked. I realize that he has a legitimate reason to want my clothes off, but gross.
