If it's just fun, go for it.

I don't know how to explain this, but don't go for anything that leaves you in a vulnerable position or depending on her, like, don't trust her with important stuff unless she proves she has moved past that and is reliable now.

But harmless fun, the kind that you don't have to rely on her for your safety or whatever? I don't see why not.

Just don't, er, bare your whole inner self to her again until she proves she won't ditch you again.

That aside, I know what you mean. There are people out there who are good people but who have terrible, terrible people judging skills, and that sort of leaks over into their interactions with people who do need them for real, like it happened to you. And it only harms the good people and benefits manipulative jerks or users. :(

Basically this. Be careful with your emotions and be prepared to back off if things start to go wrong again, but there's nothing wrong with seeing her and catching up a little bit.
