If you're interested: there are still descendants of the brothers Grimm. One of the last is their great great great great etc. grandchild Markus Grimm.

He can't be a descendant of the brothers Grimm. Jacob never had any kids and Wilhelm's line died out in 1919. National geographic did the research. I rather trust them than family lore with no evidence. http://www.nationalgeographic.com/grimm/article.html

But you DO know that the brothers Grimm had more relatives? Maybe no sons or grandchildren, but they had a sister and aunts and uncles. There are still Grimms in germany.
