I'm confused. Don't you have to register to use any of the sites, like tinypic? Won't that show a name, no matter what?

Or am i missing something? I'm contemplating submitting a secret and want to do it right, but those sites all have register/log in options. You can't use them without an account, can you?

No, you don't have to register to use tinypic, and you can use it without an account. It does sort of keep track of what you've uploaded (presumably based either on a cookie or your IP), so it will show you "things you've uploaded previously" when you upload something new, but you needn't have any account with them or give them any identifying information, and I believe that even if you do (though I haven't had an account with them so who knows), their image URLS still don't include usernames. They definitely don't if you don't have an account.

Ah, okay. Cool - thank you. I kept seeing little login spaces and though, of course, i could make an account that said 'pollyanna' or something, it's still got a name on it.

Don't know about other sites,but on imgur you don't have to.

Cool, thanks. I was looking at that and it had a 'log in' button so i was like 'hrmmmmmmm'. I didn't try to upload anything, though, and there wasn't any text saying i didn't have to have an account.
