I absolutely agree with you. Though I wouldn't go as far as saying those things are bluntly racist/sexist/etc, a lot of the SJW "privilege" arguments are blind firing that end up hitting the allies who talk to them more than the targets who don't. And those allies then end up frustrated with the whole thing. I have a friend who became an SJW, hardcore, and this is exactly what happened. I'm cis, I'm white, not straight, but I've always been an advocate for civil rights for everyone and basic equality. Apparently that was somehow privileged of me. That and treating everybody the same instead of assuming all things about their individual, cultural and/or social experiences. She disowned me because I respect everyone and don't assume that I should be extra-sensitive or cautious around people who aren't the same as me. But in my actual life experience, nobody likes to be treated with kid gloves and you don't make many friends or allies in doing that.

There are battles to be fought here, a lot of them are just picking the wrong ones.

I know I keep saying it (same anon) but "codependency" --- IT'S A REAL THING. Look it up. Tell me these super-sensitive self-appointed Social Justice Warriors don't fit the DSM on this TO A T.

The worst part is going to be when they carry their disorder out into the real world, and REALLY start oppressing the people they claim to be fighting for. (Like the codependent social workers do now.)
