If you seriously think that, that is fucking stupid. RPing smut is no different from RPing nonsexual, nonromantic, "normal" things. If I am RPing smut as, say, Isabela from Dragon Age 2 with my RP partner who plays Bethany, I am not interacting sexually in any way with said RP partner. I'm taking on the role of a character and playing her as she would react to my friend's take of her character. The fact that it's a sexual situation doesn't make it any more personal than if my Bethany RPer friend and I were playing out Isabela and Bethany fighting raiders in a back alley, or going out to a bar together to hang out or something. I'm not thinking sexually about my friend or myself, just Isabela and Bethany.
Smutty RP =/= cybering, in short. (Also who the hell even cybers aside from. like. 13 year olds?)
As for the overall issues, depending on information that we aren't given, OP could be either a jerk and a clingy SO who needs to get over the fact that his/her SOs may not want to spend all of their free time with him/her and let them have their hobbies, or someone who got unlucky and dated an utterly obsessive, crazy fangirl. Either is possible, as is just basic miscommunication on both parts, and I'm not going to try to guess what's what.
And re; Transformers fandom, just try to separate the two things in your mind. It can be hard at first, and you may need to step away for a while and then come back to it, but it's possible that the wounds will heal and you can enjoy it again someday.
