9) WORDY MCWORD WITH A BIG WORD ON TOP. I hole up in my room on the internet, reading fanfic and the like, but gosh, I'm happy, so who cares? I have friends, I got my schoolwork done when I was in school, and occasionally I leave the house. Who cares? Life is beautiful. Fandom makes it less drudgery and more fantasy. A++++ to this secret.

And you know, my dad is hardcore into football -- and because it's football he's not a nerd and no one would accuse him of not having a life, right? WHAT. EVER. He is SUCH a football nerd. His life revolves around fantasy football. NERD.

11) Manips scare the crap out of me as well (although sometimes they're kind of hi-larious). In a way I kind of get embarrassed and think, "Oh, god, what if the actors see these things?" If I were an actor and people were doing this to me I would be hardcore creeped out. Same reason I can't read RPS. T________T It's just personal opinion, though... I know lots of people really love it so I'm not like "DOWN WITH MANIPS AND RPS!!" I'm just not going to look at it. ^^

First off, I LOVE YOUR ICON. XD Oh man. HE'LL SAVE CHILDREN BUT NOT THE BRITISH CHILDREN...okay I'm done.

And I totally agree with you on 11. RPS squicks me for the exact same reasons.

I heard that he once held an opponent's wife's hand... in a... jar of acid. At a party.

But yeah, when I was in LOTR fandom I remember someone shoving a manip under the faces of Billy and Dom and asking them to sign it. Everyone on the internet was like "ha ha, lulz," and I was like "that is the complete opposite of lulz!" D: and hid from the internet.

Also, manips... whether of real actors shopped together or shopped onto the bodies of big beefy romance novel guys, tend to look lame and would make me sporfle if only I weren't so strangely horrified by them.

You know, it's funny 'cause all I can think of is how creepy this must be for the person in question... whereas if I was a novelist I would be totally flattered and down with people writing fic of my characters. My brain works in strange ways!
