I have to add in my two cents.
Near on Sendoff is amazing. Amazing. Fantastic writer, very thoughtful characterization. And in a complete contrast to the character played, the player themselves is always a pleasure to talk with.
So is Light, who jumped into the game in the middle of an overcomplicated, disgustingly convoluted plotline and proceeded to give me a run for my money. Who plays the dynamic between our characters to the hilt, bringing to the game a creative mind that keeps the twists and turns coming.
Then there's Mello, who since the day I joined Sendoff has impressed me numerous times with their portrayal of the character. I confess to having an unhealthy fascination with the plentiful ways they've found to describe varying degrees of tension and aggression.
It being the first time I'd ever actually gone through with applying into a Death Note cast somewhere, I have to say I seriously lucked out.

WE HAVE TO SHOW THIS TO NEAR WHEN SHE GETS HOME T_T/ I managed to see it only a few minutes after she went to sleep. FAIL. And I agree. Whereas Near is a complete bitch to talk to in-game (though I admit I love it because Mello and him can't even hold a conversation without going at each other's throats), she's absolutely wonderful to talk to on a daily basis.
As well, I stick with my firm belief that Light and you have got to be the best Light and L in existence. :T Not to mention the STELLER performance you two have done restisting getting into each other's pants, which seemes to be a regular occurence everywhere else. Sendoff really has been a godsend.
Actually, I originally found out about it through fandomsecrets. WEIRD HUH.
Oh that makes me smile. Mello's so full of ANGER that a lot of the time I have to figure out new and exciting ways to express it. :| I'm just glad it's working!

I took L there as an experiment, would you believe it?
I'm also deeply impressed with our Light for the reasons stated above. Shippers are a dime a dozen, but on a game designed to permit players to be canon, I'm really enjoying the product of our efforts to keep it that way. `_`a

Same here. Light fit right in, I was really impressed. And the both of you work together flawlessly. It's lovely. :D

It's like the planets were in alignment and all the necessary signs for the apocalypse had shown up in time to spawn an incredible Death Note cast.
And don't you worry -- L's ULTIMATE PLAN will be wrapping up very, very soon, in like, two weeks.
You're going to hate me so much for this plot but god it'll be worth it just for your reactions. `_`;;

i will also vouch for the my-goodness-they-are-very-ic nature of L, mello, light -- and then there's our matt, who doesn't have much to work with considering the no-one-knows-a-damn-thing-about-matt-except-he-has-a-car-and-smokes-and-he-is-also-a-successor-of-l-and-everyone-in-the-fandom-thinks-he's-really-lazy thing, but does a fantastic job with what she has.
