It's LONG. I'm on my third night of reading in 7 hour stints.
Loki is actually the equivalent of 14-16 years old but he's still an evil fuckhead as opposed to therapy/woobie fics. So far he's stayed that way. Dealves into cultural clash, manipulative!frigga, obtuse!Thor, relationships, fucked relationships, social interactions, how to fix and/or fuck up social interactions, spans movie and comicverse, gender issues.... It's a WIP and I'm still not up to date. Advance TW for child abuse, rape, shitty histories, self harming, suicide, PTSD and all kinds of bad things across the entire Avengers casts.

This is about half of what I have. I'm sure there's a theme here so if you want more like this I can bring up the bookmarks on my other computer.

It's Tony/Rhodey, which is a bit of a rarepair but one of my favorites, but it features the rest of the Avengers being kind of awesome and super awkward. Plus! It has some of the best non-idiot/non-capslock Thor I've ever seen. He's all aware and helpful and genuine and shit, I love it.

Thor/Steve

Adventures in Midgard (snack_size) has Steve and Thor having a day out on the town with Tony's credit card. Their day is filled with humorous adventures between of shopping, a bakery that sells erotic confections, and just fun conversations between Steve and Thor. The end of the last chapter is when they actually hook up, so if the smut doesn't interest you then you can just read till the end of the movie night scene.

Where Thor is Boisterous, and Steve is Shy (snack_size) is another fun piece, but with more focus on the eventual Thor/Steve. The rest of the Avengers make an appearance and have some fun housemate moments before the focus shifts more toward the romance plot. Thor is a bit well...boisterous, but he's still sweet and NOT the complete oaf that other writers may turn him into.
